So this is so, so cute!I was looking for something tech but not just another video game.I originally got this for my 12 year old son who loves science.I set it up on my phone to check it out. It is one of the coolest things ever.My 5 year old loves it, my 8 year old likes to play with it and my 12 year old thinks its “cool” so win right?!You download the app, set the sensors out, collect them, place them on the pod reader and then you put those readings into an “egg”. Then you have to gather readings that are similar to incubate the egg. You then have creatures you add to worlds, and learn to care for them.. which growing food and such requires use of the sensors as well.I like that it teaches them decibels, temperature and light. They are learning and having fun. Reminds me of like the pokemon go game but you create your creatures. This is fun for all ages, and worth the money.Honestly I would have paid a bit more for this!Get the kids up, moving and learning while still being “cool” on their tech toys!

I changed my review from 1 star to 4 after I was contacted by Thames & Kosmos customer support. We love this game. So much fun. I have a 6 year old daughter and 8 year old son. They both love it. They love making different types of environments and creatures. We had an issue with one of the pods. We over heated with a blow dryer and it melted a bit. Totally our fault and once one pod breaks it is all over. This is frustrating because you cannot continue with the game without all three pods and you cannot purchase a replacement pod. I sent Thames & Kosmos and email asking if I could purchase the thermal pod and they responded and we have one on the way. I would give it a 5 star except that it should be easier to get replacement pods, hopefully they are working on that.
